The song i chose is about the "Armenian genocide" also called the "Armenian holocaust". The government tried to eliminate the armenian minorities in the ottoman empire. The ottomans used mass burning ,drowning kids, drug overdose to children and poison gases. Eventually there were death marches and concentration camps . This was a holocaust before the nazi holocaust people call it the " forgotten holocaust" over 500,000 Armenians were killed between 1914-1918

Really cool connection to a historical event. I wonder if you could link or embed videos that would help your peers learn a little more about the Forgotten Holocaust? Also... Whenever we make connections like this I am looking for your thoughts, feelings, or opinions about it? Why do you think there are two holocausts, and so many other examples of genocide?
